Due to an expansion in the range of our activities, Woodlands Community Development Trust are looking to recruit new members to join our Board of Directors. 

We are looking for people with skills and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. Fundraising, including Capital Funding 

2. Personnel, staffing and HR 

3. Financial Management 

4. Business Planning and Social Enterprise 

5. Arts Programming 

6. Youth Work 

7. Charity Law and Governance 

We welcome applications from people who live in the Woodlands area, or who live outside the area but work or volunteer in Woodlands and can commit to attending meetings in Woodlands. 

We hold ten board meetings per year, normally on the last Wednesday of the month. We also have a number sub-committees that meet outwith the main board meeting, e.g staffing, funding. 

The normal commitment we expect of a Volunteer Director is 3-4 hours per month, though there are opportunities to volunteer more hours if you can.
