We will be discussing Maria’s selected book titled, My Grandmothers Hands by Resmaa Menakem. It is available to buy from bookshop.com for £9.25 here
Along with our upcoming Anti-Racist publication and more general conversations around peoples experience of racism and Anti-Racist material.
About the book:
My Grandmother's Hands is an extraordinary call to action for all of us to recognize that racism affects not only the mind, but also the body, and introduces an alternative view of what we can do to grow beyond our racial divides.
Please feel free to come along and listen even if you have not engaged with our chosen material as it can still be a great experience to hear people talk about what they've learned.
