Community Garden Volunteer Sessions

  • Woodlands Community Garden 101 West Prince's Street Glasgow, Scotland, G4 9BY United Kingdom (map)

Join us in the garden every Tuesday Morning for
- the chance to get to know other local people who care about the local environment.
- opportunities to help us in the garden with weeding, maintenance, composting, tidying and carrying out repairs and improvements.

Our garden volunteer sessions are open to local people who want to help us in keeping the garden as a special place for both people and nature. Previous gardening experience isn't required, so you can come along even if you are new to gardening. We are also looking for some people with DIY skills to help with basic repairs. Volunteering is suitable for adults rather than children.

Sometimes there are more volunteers than there are garden jobs that we can supervise. But if there isn’t enough work for you to do, you are still very welcome to come along to chat and socialise with other people in the garden.

Please do not attend the session if you have any symptoms of Covid.

Tea and coffee provided, but please dress appropriately for outdoor working.
