Sundas is a PhD student at the University of Glasgow researching indigenous and traditional ways of looking at and interacting with the natural world. She will run 3 workshops in our Community Meeting Room on
Sat 20th August, 4-6pm [3 of 3 workshops]
As a thank you for taking part in her research, all participants will be offered a roots, fruits, flowers voucher and organic seeds.
Workshop 1
Join Sundas Mahar for re-connecting with nature through Celtic inspired artwork. We will make Celtic patterns and take inspiration from Celtic philosophies to reflect on our holistic relationship with nature.
Workshop 2
Join Sundas Mahar for problem solving for sustainability. We will reflect on holistic ways of looking at nature and look for possible solutions to real life sustainability issues.
Workshop 3
Join Sundas Mahar for a Celtic inspired sharing circle. Please bring a piece of poetry, song, art, picture, story etc. from the Celtic tradition that reflects your personal relationship with nature. Other traditions and musical instruments welcome! Sharing and reflections over tea and snacks.
