There is a lot to feel nervous about these days, and while the effects of the pandemic are often in the forefront of most of our minds, many of us are simultaneously combatting anxiety related to the climate crisis.
If you feel like this describes you, then please join us for our online Climate Coffee Chats, where each week we will chat about a different topic relating to the climate crisis, to offer support, advice or even just a sympathetic ear as well as connect community members during these isolating times.
The topic of our first chat will be Veganuary, the global campaign to encourage consumers to eschew meat and animal products during the month of January. The campaign, started in 2014, has reached record popularity this year with over half a million people signing up to participate and a growing number of British supermarkets and fast food chains rolling out bespoke, plant-based foods especially for Veganuary. Info on the campaign can be found on their website: https://veganuary.com/
Curious about Veganuary or veganism generally? Are you already giving Veganuary a go? We’d love to chat with you about it! Follow the Zoom details below to join the chat.
