MORE INFO
How can you be part of the composting revolution? Join Glasgow Community Food Network and Woodlands Garden to find out!
We are holding a networking event to discuss all things community composting. You will have a chance to
discover why community composting is important, learn about different models of community composting, and discuss how to improve composting in Central/West
Glasgow. You’ll also see a working example of how we are already doing community composting at Woodlands, and hear about our future plans and how to be involved. Hopefully we will foster new collaborations and come away with practical ways forward for your own situation.
We want to hear from community growers, community food organisations, local cafes, allotments, housing associations - you name it! If you want to connect with others who are passionate about composting, and want to network and share thoughts and ideas, or are even just curious to find out more, this event is for you.
HOW TO BOOK
Book via eventbrite here
Or contact Jenny at JennyMac_gcfn@outlook.com to reserve your place.
This event is part of #CompostingForTheFuture, which the Food and Climate Action project are delivering as a way for us to spark Glasgow’s communities’ involvement in composting. We are working with communities to identify what needs to change with our city’s current food-waste recycling system, explore alternative models to make composting easier and more effective, and support community groups to set these up.
