Have you been finding solace in appreciating the birds during lock down? What to find out more identification tips and tricks to develop knowledge of how to bird watch more astutely? Join bird enthusiast and artist Scott Rogers for our upcoming part III of extra special online workshops: Introductions to birding in Glasgow.

This session Scott will give in-depth advice on how to identify birds of prey, Cormorants, and Goosanders / Mergansers. Plus there will be further tips & tricks for getting started or improving your birding skills. If there's time, Scott will recount a few of his unusual recent sightings around the city. Bring your questions or stories about recent observations you'd like to share. All contributions are very welcome!

For novice birdwatchers and avid fans alike. It is not necessary for you to have been present for any of the previous sessions. New attendees welcome!

Scott’s bio:

Scott Rogers (he / him) grew up in Treaty 7 territory Calgary in Canada, and has lived in Glasgow for the last ten years. He is an artist, and also a very keen birder. Since childhood Scott has been an avid nature enthusiast, and he loves to share his knowledge and passion for the outdoors.
