Want to learn identification tips and develop knowledge of how to identify birds more astutely? Join bird enthusiast and artist Scott Rogers for our three upcoming extra special workshops: Introductions to Glasgow Birding. We will meet in Woodlands Community Garden at 5:30PM sharp to begin our route.
Details:
Friday 1st July departing at 5:30 : We will walk as a group through Kelvingrove Park, examining the different habitats, and looking for some of the notable species we might encounter every day in Glasgow.
Please feel free to bring your questions or stories about recent observations you'd like to share. All contributions are very welcome!
For novice birders and avid fans alike. It is not necessary for you to have been present for any previous workshops. New attendees welcome! If you have binoculars or other birding tools feel free to bring them, but they are by no means mandatory.

Scott’s bio:
Scott Rogers (he / him) grew up in Treaty 7 territory Calgary in Canada, and has lived in Glasgow for more than a decade. He is an artist, and also a very keen birder. Since childhood Scott has been an avid nature enthusiast, and he loves to share his knowledge and passion for the outdoors.
