KISS THE GROUND Film Screening + Discussion with Climate Action team + special guests. Doors open at Flourish House, 23-25 Ashley St, Glasgow G3 6DR at 5:30PM for a 6PM prompt start. Flourish House is a wheelchair accessible space.
About the film:
Woodlands Community will screen KISS THE GROUND, a documentary that provides a solution to heal our planet and keep our species away from the extinction list.
KISS THE GROUND unveils a game-changer to our climate crisis: the Earth’s own soil. Here it is...we can reverse global warming. The solution is called “Regenerative Agriculture” and this film presents the research, practice, and hope we need to move forward. Together.
Regenerative Agriculture can: Revive farmer prosperity, reduce flooding & draught, replenish fresh water sources, reduce fire hazards, reverse global warming, recreate regional access to nutrient-dense food, reduce toxic pesticides & fertilizers, reduce dead zones & water pollution, reverse extinction, and reconnect humanity & nature.
People are calling KISS THE GROUND “The Most Important Film You’ll Ever Watch” -- which is a really big claim. But it just may be true. Visit www.kissthegroundmovie.com to learn more about the film and surrounding educational project.

Quotes from the Film
"Human beings emerged in paradise. If we restore all of the degraded land on the Earth, we can return to paradise. ―So, let's restore a little bit of paradise every day. It's not that difficult. If we stop distracting ourselves with shiny objects and we start to think about what's really important to us. ―To see biodiversity return to a place that was completely devastated. This is where everyone can find tremendous satisfaction and the meaning of our lives." - John Liu @johndennisliu
It's not about religion or politics, it's about love ―and if you love something or somebody you want to understand them, take care of them, protect them, and keep them safe. That's what we're all here to do." - Maria Rodale
"It's really not waste." - @pashonmurray Founder of @detroitdirt
