Krav Maga Self Defense class.
The seminar will be based on our STAY AWAY Program. We use both male and female instructors as the session will focus on teaching awareness, prevention, building self-confidence, recognizing and utilising your natural instincts to stay safe and grow stronger mentally and physically.
There will also be a short warm down and Q&A time afterwards to address any queries or questions.
No equipment or previous experience is necessary but please remember to bring water.
Learning Krav Maga is not only about preventing attacks! It is also a life-changing experience that will stay with you forever and empower you in everyday life!
We will be looking at the psychology of attackers at the start and promoting empowerment. For the physical techniques, we will be looking at how to mark your personal space while de-escalating and avoiding a fight. Then we'll look at how to fight back if a fight is unavoidable (vulnerable points to aim for).
Then we will look at chokes, knife threats, hair and shirt grabs, bear hugs and ground techniques that could escalate to rape scenarios.
There will be an option to exclude any of the above scenarios. Moreover, to attend and observe.
