Why not come along and gain confidence cycling, stay active and in tune with your local cycle routes and meet some new people?
We will meet on Saturday August 21st at 9:45AM for a 10AM departure at Woodlands Community meeting room, 66 Ashley Street, Glasgow G3 6HW. This ride is beginner /intermediate level for folk that are steady riders and are confident riding on a mix of cycle routes and roads. It will be a gentle ride for the duration of 2.5 hrs with breaks.
Please be punctual so we can make the most of the day. We will return by 1PM.
All of our volunteers leading these rides have completed their Cycle Ride Leader Course (delivered by Cycling Scotland).
Please note, for these Volunteer Led Rides you must bring your own bike in good working order. If required folk can borrow a helmet as needed. Bring plenty of water and a pack lunch. There will be an opportunity to stop to eat lunch.
There will be a very short exercise at the beginning of the ride to gage the cycling ability of the group.
