MORE INFO

A Climate Listening Circle is a warm, friendly space to meet and talk about the responses we feel towards the climate crisis.

All big and complex feelings are welcome. Whether you are feeling fear, anxiety, anger, helplessness, sadness, grief or despair, the Climate Café Listening Circle offers a space to talk and connect with others who may be feeling similarly.

A Climate Café Listening Circle:

  • Focuses on feelings rather than actions

  • Is not a space for discussing or debating climate policy, climate science or specific actions

  • Will not offer advice

  • Offers a space to reflect, feel and connect with others

Based on the approach developed by the Climate Psychology Alliance (CPA) and held by CPA trained facilitators, the circle offers people a supportive and confidential space to share their feelings about the interconnected climate, environmental and social justice crises.
