Taiji and Qigong with Hing Teh (wellbeing programme)

These classes will be run by Hing Teh, a Taiji and Qigong practitioner and teacher. Hing Teh will run three weekly Saturday classes. This is 2 of 3. It is not necessary to have attended the previous class.

Hing Teh has been teaching for over 20 years with community groups in Glasgow areas and lately on Zoom. She has been teaching mainly Yang style Taiji and various styles of health qigong learned from reputable teachers from China. The objective of her classes is to share her knowledge of Taiji and Qigong for health benefit rather than as a marital art. By applying the philosophy of Taiji and Qigong practise we learn to be more in tune with our mind and body; learning about body balance while in a relaxed state of the mind. These exercises though gentle have proven record of strengthen our muscles, hence improve our balance; to relax our mind, hence improve concentration as well as lower high blood pressure and anxieties. Taiji is also a recommended exercise for Type 2 diabetic patients.
