Learn the essentials of hand sewn clothing repair in this repair workshop. Participants will be guided through 8 useful repair techniques, from sewing on a button to reinforcing tears, while learning which stitches to use for different types of mending.
By the end of the session, participants will feel more confident tackling repairs at home and will take away a stitched sampler featuring the techniques covered. Participants are also welcome to bring a garment they would like to repair during the workshop.
Our Warm Welcome café in the building we will be offering vegan food free, [donations welcome].
