MORE INFO

A group bike ride to the Claypits Nature Reserve. A great opportunity to get out, be active and socialise. This ride is for advanced beginners/intermediate cyclists. It will help build cycle confidence and connect with other local cyclists.

We will go up to the Claypits Nature Reserve to get onto the canal. From there we will cycle along the canal in the direction of Cadder and Bishopbriggs. We will take in the Stockingfield bridge, Possil Marsh and stop for refreshments on the way - please bring drinks and snacks, as there may be no cafes on the route. We will then cycle back the way we came. The most the route will be is approx 15 miles in total.

For the safety of the group,

Children are welcomed on the back of a bike on a child seat/trailer or eCargo bike.

Confident accompanied child cyclists are welcomed above the age of 12+ that you feel will not slow down the pace of the group.

Keep an eye out for future family cycling events.
