MORE INFO

All are very welcome at our monthly Monday well-being walks. They will start in our community garden, on the last Monday of the month (September, October, November) and will run from 2pm until 4pm. We make sure to accommodate different levels of mobility.

On these walks, we always pause somewhere in nature to light the storm kettle or Judy will bring a flask of tea to share. There will be time to reflect on issues around mental health and well-being or partake in (optional) brief activities to connect with our surroundings and promote relaxation and resilience.

Judy Jamieson is a psychotherapist and also works in our Nurture in Nature one-to-one service helping people to overcome common mental health issues. She believes that we can find some healing, clarity and sense of belonging, as we spend time, present, in nature.

This programme of walks is free, though if you are able to we ask that you donate to Woodlands Community which helps go towards ensuring that we can continue to run wellbeing activities like this. You can donate here.
