Becoming Woodlands - Creative Response to Climate and Ecological Emergency (call for participants)

As part of our Climate Action Project, Amy Clarkson, a creative ecology practitioner and experienced facilitator, will be running a 6 week online trail exploring themes of climate literacy and ecological futures using a combination of experiential learning and supportive group discussions.

Connective practices: get hands on with fermentation, mushroom growing, foraging, composting, collaging and creative writing.

Creative studio: weekly virtual shared space for creative response, collaborative practices, ecological discussion.

The journey will grow into a community action for Earth Day on 22nd April!

The course is FREE in exchange for a commitment to the 6 week programme from 11th March - 15th April. There will be a zoom meeting every Thursday at 5 - 6.30 pm during this period.

All materials and videos will be provided and some items may need to be collected from Woodlands Community Garden (these can be posted to anyone who is shielding).

Who is it for?

The trail is for anyone within the Hillhead/Woodlands area who wishes to engage with the climate emergency and would like to work in a supportive creative community with ecological themes.
