Woodlands Climate Action 2021 Coffee Chats - saving energy in the home.

Please join us for our weekly online Climate Action 2021 Coffee Chats, where each week we will chat about a different topic relating to the climate crisis, to offer support, advice or even just a sympathetic ear as well as connect community members during these isolating times. This week we will talk about heating your home and also changing to a green energy provider.

There is a lot to feel nervous about these days, and while the effects of the pandemic are often in the forefront of most of our minds, many of us are simultaneously combating anxiety related to the climate crisis.

Woodland’s Climate Action Project is looking specifically at 4 main strands of activity including: Improving climate literacy, increasing participation in cycling, promoting local and seasonal vegetarian/vegan food and reducing, re-using and recycling. We want to hear your view on these topics! Openly discuss climate anxiety, exchange knowledge, testimonials of small acts and most importantly listen to you, to ensure that we are providing activities through all these strands that are most relevant to you!

Please join us for our regular Monday Zoom chat, to let us know what ideas you have and what would best support and interest you personally and those of you with families surrounding the Climate Emergency and how to move forward collectively.
