Open to all, please join us for an introduction to bike maintenance! Join us to learn some top tips to keep your bike running smoothly & safely.

This class will cover three themes:

Bike suitability: brief discussion on types of bikes and their purpose, sizing and correct set up for bike/body contact points.

Introduction to components: understanding the general anatomy of the bike and basic safety checks and intro to diagnosing/fixing common issues.

General bike maintenance: understanding appropriate care and upkeep that will ensure a smooth ride and long life of your bike. There will be room for questions throughout the session and there will be as much hands on approach as the time allows us. We encourage people to bring their own bikes but its not necessary.

Basic maintenance classes are open to all, with no previous experience necessary. Kids (under 16) should be accompanied by an adult and anyone who is 16+ should be on a separate booking slot.

This class is an introduction to basic bike anatomy, safety and maintenance and is suitable for novice mechanics or anyone that is interested in  demystifying their bike and it's upkeep.

We will bring tools and such with us but recommend that participants bring their own bikes. Capacity wise we are looking at a group of 6-8 people.

In addition to this in person workshop all participants will receive a essential tool kit of up to £30. Please only take what you do not already have within the selection of gear.
