Please join us for our weekly online Climate Action 2021 Coffee Chats, where each week we will chat about a different topic relating to the climate crisis, to offer support, advice or even just a sympathetic ear as well as connect community members during these isolating times.
There is a lot to feel nervous about these days, and while the effects of the pandemic are often in the forefront of most of our minds, many of us are simultaneously combating anxiety related to the climate crisis.
Please join us for our regular Monday Zoom chat, to let us know what ideas you have and what would best support and interest you personally and those of you with families surrounding the Climate Emergency and how to move forward collectively.
This week we will be discussing seasonality in fruit & veg, what it is, why it’s important to the environmentally-conscious person and how seasonal produce compares to out of season produce. We’ll also discuss the lack of knowledge in the general public of seasonality and discuss ways that the concept of seasonality could be relayed more effectively to the public than it is now.
