Women + Womxn Solidarity Reflection Gathering (Online)

  • Woodlands Community Development Trust 66 Ashley Street Glasgow United Kingdom (map)

Are you looking for a way to respond to the current outcry for justice linked to sexualised and gendered violence? We want to offer a safe space for such conversation, to give voice to you all and hear your thoughts. To collectively discuss these enraged feelings felt at the sadness of Sarah Everard's murder and the ongoing violence and injustice towards women, both cis and trans alike. With increasing cases of domestic violence across the country due to the ongoing pandemic and a criminal justice system that only increases violence, conversations like these are more important now than ever before.

As a first step we are setting up this virtual community reflection for anyone who is interested to engage in this dialogue. We will share resources and talk about womxn refuge in Glasgow, protest rights and wider discuss abolishment systems. This is a safe space where everyone is welcome, please join us.
