Herbal & Foraging Workshop 2pm Session

  • Woodlands Community 66 Ashley Street Glasgow g3 6hw (map)

Join us on the Woodlands Community Terrace for a socially distanced, fortnightly herbal demonstration with medical herbalist and foraging tutor, Catriona Gibson.

We’ll learn about a wide range of remedies and foods which you can take home, focusing on plants you can find locally both in the wild and in the Woodlands Community Garden, how to harvest them safely and preserve them carefully. We'll provide rain cover, but please come prepared for the weather!

These workshops are free, though we ask that you make a one off donation when booking here on Eventbrite. This is a great help to us in being able to afford to run more workshops such as this.

We are making sure to stick to government guidelines re group numbers and households meeting outdoors. Hand sanitisers are available on the Terrace and we have marked the space, so that social distancing is made easy. Unfortunately we can't allow access to our on site toilet at the moment.

No previous experience is required and there will be handouts - please bring along a notebook and feel free to take photos.
