Recycle your Garment in your Kitchen Online Workshop (Free)

Perfect for confinement times lets get crafty together for a two hours session

Let’s remake an old t-shirt or a shirt or small item of clothing using what you have in the kitchen ... you can work with me or just follow me and make your own dye pot later .


Elisabeth Viguie-Culshaw will demonstrate how to get great yellow out of Turmeric and Green/brown out of onion skin

You will be able to replay this video if you need to see it again
If you work alongside me you need :

  • A garment (cotton is best and clean of any conditioning agent)

  • A pot (stainless steel is best or enamel ... don’t use aluminium it will affect your dye) it must have a kit or you can use an old saucer to cover it

  • Water

  • A large spoon

  • 50 grs of Turmeric powder ... if you are out of it and in Woodside area ... KRK are selling it and they practise social distancing

  • Access to a sink

  • A stove or hot plate as you will need to simmer this for 30 mins

I will be showing you how to tie dye with what you have in your kitchen and recycle a garment by just boiling some Turmeric spice

    It will be massive good fun and creative and you will have a lovely smell of home cooking in your kitchen
