THIS SESSION IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
Online workshop to help improve your sleep - for people who have been affected by the death of Esther Brown.
ONLY SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY ATTENDED WEEK 1 OF THE COURSE ON 8th JULY
A good night’s sleep is so important for so many reasons. Let’s face it – when we don’t get a good night sleep – we can feel the difference! And at times of trauma or bereavement sleep patterns are more prone to being disrupted and can affect our ability to cope.
Kay will be delivering an online sleep workshop which is divided into two – the first is 90 minutes and will be taking place on 8th July at 6pm – 7:30pm and the second follow on session will take place on 15th July at 6pm – 7pm, with the chance to stay online afterwards to discuss ideas for follow up workshops.
In the first 90-minute session, we’ll explore the neuroscience behind why sleep is important, delve into what a good night-time routine looks like, investigate what makes the mind so busy at night and what you can do about it, and practice a simple yet effective meditation to send you off to sleep.
The second 60-minute session is a space to come back together with the same group and share how we got on and ask all the questions that might have come up as we put everything we learned into practice! It’s a chance to share and learn, and further connect with what could help you get that good night’s sleep.
Free workshop, particularly of interest for people who's sleep has been affected by the recent murder of our friend and volunteer Esther Brown.
ONLINE WORKSHOP via ZOOM, details for the zoom will be sent to you after registering.
