There is a lot to feel nervous about these days, and while the effects of the pandemic are often in the forefront of most of our minds, many of us are simultaneously combating anxiety related to the climate crisis.
Please join us for our weekly Climate Action 2021 Coffee Chats on our community terrace, where each week we will chat about a different topic relating to the climate crisis, to offer support, advice or even just a sympathetic ear as well as connect community members during these isolating times.
This week we will be discussing sustainable building materials being championed as a a greener alternative to concrete and other more commonly used building materials. The amount of emissions produced from the construction sector is staggering, but is there an alternative which is as effective while not compromising on sustainability?
For this climate chat we are privileged to be joined and led by James Robb, a professional consultant on sustainable building materials.
Please join us! The climate chat will be hosted on our community terrace at 66 Ashley Street.
Email, text or call Xander on xander@woodlandscommunity.org.uk or 07708 474895 to register for this event for free.
Tea/coffee and vegan bakes will be provided!
